Former Royal Marines Commando to speak at Scottish Dental Show
Sam Wones will discuss dealing with stress, resilience and performance
Sam Wones, a former Royal Marines Commando and co-creator of The Adaptable Human Project, will be speaking at the Scottish Dental Show in June.
With a background in sports and a career of more than a decade in the Royal Marines, Sam is well-placed to talk about stress, resilience and performance.
“Stress is a huge factor in modern life,” he said. “Life is hectic and sometimes full of unknowns. Stress shows up in the workplace, at home and anywhere in between. It wreaks serious physical, emotional and psychological havoc if left unchecked and unmanaged.”
The Adaptable Human Project supports individuals and organisations in managing stress and performing under pressure.
“We work with people from all walks of life,” said Sam. “We work with people who are stressed, burnt-out and struggling, as well as those who are doing really well, but want to do better. Our approach is both psychological and physical – providing unique, thorough and applicable research-led training.”
Registration for the Scottish Dental Show at Braehead Arena on 12-13 June is now open and you can get your free ticket by registering at sdshow.co.uk. We will let you know soon when booking for lectures and workshops is open.
