Albert Yeung appointed President of BDA’s West of Scotland Branch
Mr Yeung said he was committed to overseeing a dynamic CPD programme and strengthening collaboration.
Albert Yeung, a Consultant in Dental Public Health with NHS Lanarkshire, has been elected President of the West of Scotland Branch of the British Dental Association (BDA).
Mr Yeung’s leadership résumé includes a term as President of the British Association for the Study of Community Dentistry (2022–23) and current chair of the BDA Scottish Council; experience that positions him well to navigate the evolving Scottish NHS dental contract and advocate effectively for both patients and professionals.
“I’m honoured to take the helm of the West of Scotland Branch,” said Mr Yeung, “and I’m committed to overseeing a dynamic CPD programme, strengthening collaboration across community, hospital and general dental services, and championing preventive, public health focused dentistry for every patient in our region.”
The branch represents dentists across Ayrshire, Argyll and Bute, Clackmannanshire, Dumfriesshire, Dunbartonshire, Lanarkshire, Renfrewshire, Stirlingshire and Wigtownshire.
