Sessions on medical emergencies feature on both days of the free-to-attend Scottish Dental Show on 20-21 June.
On Friday 20 June, Professor Mark Greenwood, Chair of Medicine and Surgery in Dentistry at the University of Manchester, will present a lecture on ‘Medical emergencies and medical history taking’.
On Saturday 21 June, Tamora Shemwood, Simulated Education Lead, and Clare Sobala, Clinical Skills Facilitator at the School of Dentistry, University of Leeds, will present a lecture on ‘Assessment of the Acutely Unwell Patient: interactive ABCDE’.
Also on Saturday, Tamora and Clare, along with clinical and medical emergencies simulation specialists Jo Donnison, Lucy Scholey, Karen Abbott and Amy Smith, will host a workshop on ‘Clinical Skills for Medical Emergencies’.
