Financial services company Wesleyan has announced the acquisition of dental plan provider DPAS, making it the second largest provider of membership plans in the UK.

The Birmingham-based company already owns Practice Plan and its latest purchase is expected to go ahead following regulatory approval.

Craig Errington, Wesleyan Group chief executive, said: “We can now take the best
of both Practice Plan and DPAS to deliver a first class customer service.”

Gary Anders, DPAS Managing Director, said: “Wesleyan is an established player in the dental market and has a deep understanding of it. It’s also good to know DPAS will be part of a strong financial mutual with a great heritage and a reputation for customer service and product performance.”
