The newspaper used eight measures of performance, covering all stages of the student life cycle, to put together a league table for 66 subjects.
Dundee and Glasgow were ranked first and second for their Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) courses.
The rankings come after the Complete University Guide ranked Glasgow the best in the UK for dentistry, toppling Dundee who had previously held top place.
