BDA East of Scotland Branch welcomes new President

The East of Scotland Branch of the British Dental Association (BDA) has welcomed its new President, Dr Ruby Ahuja, at its recent AGM.

Dr Ahuja is Principal Dentist at LW Dental in Edinburgh and has been a Branch Council secretary since 2012.

The immediate Past President is Dr Nicholas Baker, who has served on the Branch Council for more than14 years and is a current member of the Scottish BDA Council.

The BDA East of Scotland Branch arranges regular CPD-accredited educational events over the winter season in Central Edinburgh, welcoming BDA members who reside in the City of Edinburgh, Roxburghshire, Perthshire, East, West and Mid Lothian, Selkirkshire, Berwickshire and Fife.

It also welcomes BDA members visiting from elsewhere, and non-members, who attend regular educational meetings, providing verifiable CPD to UK General Dental Council development outcome standards, networking opportunities and professional support.

The next CPD meeting will be held at 19:00 on Wednesday 7 October, at the Royal Scots Club, 29–31 Abercromby Street, Edinburgh, EH3 6QE.
