The Greater Glasgow & Clyde Local Dental Committee’s (LDC) NHS Dental Symposium is being held on Friday 6 March.

You can gain more than five hours of CPD, meet your fellow Greater Glasgow & Clyde dental colleagues, and members of the LDC, and enjoy a drinks reception at the end of the day.

The speakers are:

  • Jill Phillips on enamel anomalies and the management of molar incisor hypomineralisation,
  • Michael McGrady will provide a reflective journey over a career within dentistry and the development of NHS dental services,
  • Nick Beacher will discuss neurodevelopmental conditions in dentistry,
  • Asif Allauddin discussing how osteopathy can help with TMJ problems,
  • Simon Kidd on dento-legal challenges when treating patients who have had complex treatment elsewhere,
  • Kerry Milligan on Understanding Our Roles and Responsibilities in Child Protection.

The symposium is free for GG&C mandate holders and £100 for non-mandate holders. If you do not have a mandate you can set one up today here. Completing a voluntary mandate costs only 0.2% of your NHS gross, and keeps the LDC working for your benefit.

Note: the location for the symposium is is 200 St Vincent Street, Glasgow, G2 5SG, i.e., not the Royal College but two blocks east.
