New owner for Glasgow health centre practice
Pollok Health Centre Dental Practice bought by Ahmed Shaikh, an independent multi-site operator.
Specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co, has announced the sale of Pollok Health Centre Dental Practice in Glasgow. The two-surgery practice has more than 5,000 registered patients.
The exiting owner, Steven Connelly, joined the practice as an Associate in 1999, followed by Michael McLaughlin in 2003. Over the last few decades, they built a reputation for providing high-quality dental care in a friendly and personal environment, establishing the practice as a stable and steadfast provider of reliable dental services.
Following a confidential sales process with Kevin Strain at Christie & Co, the practice has been purchased by Ahmed Shaikh, an independent multi-site operator.
Steven Connolly said: “After over two decades at Pollok Health Centre Dental Practice, it feels like the right time to pass the baton. Michael and I are incredibly proud of the team and the reputation we’ve built for delivering high-quality, patient-focused care. We’re confident that Ahmed will continue to uphold these values and take the practice forward.”
Kevin Strain, Senior Business Agent – Dental at Christie & Co, said: “The strong level of interest and swift completion reflect the continued demand we’re seeing across Glasgow for quality dental practices with stable patient bases. I wish both the seller and the purchaser every success in their next chapters.”
