Thommy Leca

Scottish dentistry has a lost highly regarded and respected figure with the sad passing at the end of March of Thomas “Tommy” Leca, the founder of Leca Dental.

Tommy started Leca Dental with only a very small number of staff but it grew to become one of the largest dental laboratories in Scotland.

Tommy was known for bringing many people into dentistry, training apprentices and supporting them into colleges and universities. Many of these are now working across Glasgow and the Central belt, some of them business owners themselves. Tommy always took time to sit with his staff to help them progress and support them to achieve their aims and ambitions. Dental technology was Tommy’s way of life and he retained his passion for his job throughout his career

He will be missed by everyone at Scottish Dental and we send our sincere condolences to his wife and family.
