Putting dentist development and support first
Dr Niamh McGuinness is one of many clinicians to have recently benefited from the Best Foot Forward Programme at Clyde Munro alongside her VT year. She shares what she found most helpful:
“The programme was really good for covering a wide range of content. Topics were also formatted and timed well throughout the year. Initially we focused on what to expect in practice and were introduced to digital dentistry, and later training evolved to look more at life as an associate.
“The social aspects of the days were great, enabling us to stay locally and enjoy a drinks reception to engage with colleagues in a less formal way.
“The team leading the programme were great too – everyone was really supportive, friendly, and made themselves available if needed throughout the year. We also had a lot of interaction with the Clyde Munro leadership team, which gave the company a very personal feel and boosted morale.
“Working with Clyde Munro has been really good overall. I have had an excellent first year with Clyde Munro and I’m looking forward to what is yet to come.”
