Raising thunder for mouth cancer campaign

Put your support behind a giant Thunderclap to raise awareness ahead of Mouth Cancer Action Month

Scottish Dental magazine has pledged its support for a mass social media campaign aimed at raising awareness for Mouth Cancer Action Month (MCAM).

The awareness month, which is organised by the British Dental Health Foundation (BDHF), runs throughout November and the foundation is planning on making some noise for the 2018 event with a Thunderclap.

A Thunderclap is a crowdspeaking tool that allows a single message to be shared by multiple people and accounts at a designated date and time. The intended effect is to allow this message to be heard by as many people as possible over the noise of all other social media posts.

The BDHF has created a powerful Thunderclap message to encourage others to be more active at self-examination.

To join in with the Thunderclap, all you have to do is visit the BDHF’s Thunderclap page by clicking here. At midday on the 1 November, the MCAM message will be shared automatically by all the supporters’ social media accounts.
